Matthew 19:4-6

“Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’  Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.’ ”

I have learned many lessons this week.  The word “corrupted” has come to mean much more than a dissipated lifestyle.  I have heard people speak of having the hard drives of their computer corrupted, but now I have experienced it.

It all started last week when I was not able to access the Internet or my e-mail account.  I spent several hours on the phone with my Internet company to see if they could help me with the problem.

These technicians were very kind and patient with me, but try as we might, we could not get the computer to connect with the Internet.  My dear friend and our webmaster, Russ Hansen has helped by sending out as many issues as possible, for which I am grateful.

Another good friend has assisted in correcting my cranky computer, and we are almost able to function once more.  It has been frustrating since the Lord has called me to this ministry and for almost eight years I have not missed sending out the messages that the Lord has laid on my heart.

I mentioned at the beginning that I have learned many lessons this week.  Not only have I come to appreciate the fragile nature of our computers, but I have also come to realize just how much we need others.  God has allowed me to minister to others in ways other than the Daily-E-Votional.  That is God’s business, not mine!

Blessings dear hearts. Walk with God today.  Trust Him completely and become a real blessing.
